Super Singer Junior 5 is the fifth season of music reality show on Vijya Television /Star Vijay to find the best music talent among juniors.This show for singing competition in Tamil language was aired on Vijay TV
The reality show Super Singer Junior Season 5 was launched on 26th November 2016 and the episodes were aired every Saturdays and Sundays 7.00 PM to showcase the music talents. The contestants from age between 6 – 14 were selected though audition held in various cities. Thirty contestants were selected to participate in the music reality show Super Singer Junior 5. Five contestants reached the grand finale . They are Monika, Dhanush, Prithika,Gowri, Bhavin. They were selected from top 10 contestants (see list below)
The permanent judges of super singer junior 5 were K.S Chithra, Mano, Malgudi Subha and Ananth Vaidyanathan. Ma Ka Pa Anand and Bhavana were the anchors of the show. The viewers were also allowed to select their favourite contestant through voting at supersinger.in
The grand finale of Vijay TV Super Singer Junior 5 was held on Saturday, 17 June 2017 at D.B. Jain College, OMR, Chennai. Prithika is the winner of Vijay TV Super Singer Junior 5. Bhavin won the judges choice award
