Midukki is a popular dance reality show on Malayalam language television channel Mazhavil Manaorama. Midukki was launched on January 18, 2013. The show is produced by Satheesh Kumar. The show was aired every Sunday at 8:00 Pm following the launch of the show.
Midukki, television series aimed at finding he best talented women and the show has elements of beauty pageant competition in it. The winner of the show is found from a group of 20 contestants in the age group of 18-25 years, short listed after audition rounds across Kerala
The grand finale was held on August 4th , 2013 and 6 contestants were selected for the finale after nine rounds of completion. The winners were announced by Chief guest actress Kavya Madhavan, Sneha Unnikrishnan from Guruvayoor, Thrissur, final year BCom student won the title. In addition to the permanent judges actress Parvathi. T and C Jessy, fashion designing course director of Kanur University were part of the judging panel in the finale. Actress Muktha and Shamna Kasin showcased their dancing talents and Athira Kodambally performed violin at the grand finale.
