Super Star Junior 2007 on Amrita TV | Music Reality Show

Amrita TV's Super Star Junior was one of the biggest and popular music reality show in Malayalam television. Its First Season was in 2007 for kids in the age group 10-15 years. The first audition for this show was held in Cochin and around 2500 contestants participated. Over all 10000 applications were received. Deepak Dev,Alex Paul and Gayathri judged the audition round.

The show was aired every Monday -Friday on Amrita TV.  The 11 finalist selected competed in various rounds ranging from semi-classical to fast& rocking music and judged by panel of judges and celebrities.

The grand finale of the show was held on 25 February, 2007 from 6.40 pm to 10 pm at Nishagandi open air auditorium in Trivandrum and the  three finalists, Al Sabith (13), Lincy(13) and Pratheesh(14) fought for the title. In addition to the marks given by the judges, SMS send by the audience was also a deciding factor in choosing the winner. In a star-studded event, Singer Naresh Iyer handed over the Awards to the winners.
